- Vietnamese family rituals are ritual activities, mainly about funeral rites, in families, clans. From the beginning of 20^thcentury till its 80s, there were researches of Ho Si Duong and hisHo Thuong Thu Gia Lebut only to introduce generally.

ButHo Thuong Thu Gia Leis a work of Ho Si Duong (1652-1682), a minister of Le Dynasty. It began after the year of 1638 and finished after 1676, its content included:Gia Le Quoc Ngu Quyen Chi ThuongandGia Le Van Dap Quyen Chi Ha, each of them has its own purpose and structure.

- The best shape text is archived at the Insitute of Sino-Nom research, No AB.592, printed in Vinh Huu 5 (1739).

ButHo Thuong Thu Gia Lehold a center role which inherited from previous generations and inspired those came after.

ButThe actual practice of rites inHo Thuong Thu Gia Lewhich based on the idea of ​​Vietnamese Confucians, had been printed and published widely, shaping Vietnamese Confucian family rituals in Le Trung Hung period.
