Rising food prices, as well as natural disasters, tsunamis, and floods caused by humans, have once again shown that food security and climate change are the top challenges in the world at present. Experts around the world all agree that food security is a "vital" issue and a top priority for Africa. Most of this continent is at risk of serious food shortages and famine always threatens and ravages this "black continent".
