There are roads that, once you walk through them, you will remember them for the rest of your life. For me, the road leading to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is such a road. Every morning, when the sunlight filters through the foliage, spreading a golden color on the mossy steps, I hear the sound of lectures echoing from the lecture hall, the clear laughter of students, and the familiar sound of my own broom in the hallway.
This school is not only a place to preserve knowledge, but also a place to nurture dreams and nurture life stories - including mine. I still remember clearly the first morning I set foot in Nhan Van. At that time, I was just a simple janitor, quietly working among the solemn classrooms. The scent of books wafting in the air, the sound of students' hurried footsteps passing by... all made me clearly feel the rhythm of academic life flowing in every corner. The ancient walls, the shady old trees still steadfastly witness many generations of teachers and students continuing the golden tradition of Nhan Van. During my journey with this school, I was fortunate to meet and get to know the respected leaders - those who have led Nhan Van through many stages of change. From Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh, who laid a solid foundation for the school's development in the integration period; to Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh, with his open and friendly demeanor, always inspiring a dynamic and international academic environment; and today is Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, the young and decisive principal, who has been leading the University of Humanities into a new era with a modern vision while still fully preserving its traditional identity. Each person, each mark, each leadership style is different, but all leave in me deep respect and gratitude.
As time passed, I went from being a janitor, to a service staff, and today I am a specialist in the General Administration Department. Each step has been marked by the seasons of changing leaves on the schoolyard, the bustling opening ceremonies, and even the rainy days when the lecture halls were still lit. I have witnessed the changes of Nhan Van with my own eyes - from old buildings to spacious constructions, from simple equipment to modern facilities. But amid the flow of time, the core of Nhan Van remains intact: a serious academic spirit, compassion, and a lasting tradition passed down through generations. Today, when looking back on the past, I understand that I have not only grown in my career, but also in my soul thanks to living, working, and learning under the roof of Nhan Van. From the golden tradition to modern advances, Nhan Van is always my pride. And deep in my heart, I just hope that I can always contribute a small part, so that this school can continue to shine on the journey of cultivating knowledge for future generations.
