The men's soccer team from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) entered the 2022 tournament along with 16 other teams, determined to defend their championship title in the Hanoi National University tournament.
That determination was translated into action by the entire team, through resounding and convincing victories:
- In the opening match, USSH won against the Student Support Center team with a score of 1-0.
- On the morning of November 19, 2022, in the second match of Group A,USSH TeamThey won 3-0 against the Combined Team 2.
- On November 24, 2022, the USSH team drew 1-1 with their "neighbor" the University of Natural Sciences, officially advancing to the quarterfinals as the winner of Group A.
- In Quarterfinal Match 1, the USSH team secured a convincing 2-0 victory against the International School team.
- The opportunity to successfully defend their championship title presented itself on December 8th when the USSH team won after a tense and nail-biting match that went down to the wire. Everyone erupted in joy after the nerve-wracking penalty shootout. USSH won with a score of 3-2. |
And that day arrived, on the grass field of the Hanoi National University Sports Complex (Pham Van Dong Street), the USSH warriors showed they were fully deserving of the championship title with a very convincing victory against the Hanoi National University Administration Team in the Final on December 15th (3 times in the Final and 2 consecutive times winning the championship).
An emotional journey has come to a resounding success! Congratulations to the USSH Men's Soccer Team! Humanities champions!
Goalkeeper Trinh Van Bang was awarded the Best Goalkeeper award by the Organizing Committee.
This sweet gift is a token of gratitude for the care and attention of the School's Leadership Board, the School's Trade Union, the Youth Union, and the Student Association; the unwavering support of the cheering squad, including teachers, students, and trainees who have always followed the team's matches closely; and the backing of the players' families. Above all, it is a well-deserved reward for the players' dedication, commitment, determination, beautiful style of play, unity, teamwork, and humanistic spirit.
