Opening of the official survey to assess the quality of 04 undergraduate training programs at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities

Attending the opening ceremony, on behalf of the units under the Vietnam National University, Hanoi, were leaders of the Institute of Educational Quality Assurance, the Center for Physical Education and Information Technology, the Department of Knowledge Services in Natural Sciences and Social Sciences, the Center for Library and Digital Knowledge, the Vietnam National University Hospital, the Me Tri Dormitory Management Board, and the Vietnam National University Student Support Center.

On the side of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, there were Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan (Rector), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Thi Thu Huong (Vice Rector) and heads of functional departments, representatives of leaders, a large number of lecturers and students of 04 Faculties with accredited training programs.

On the side of Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center, there were Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung (Director), all members of the External Evaluation Team (EET) of 04 training programs led by Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam.

Dr. Phi Thi Nguyet Thanh (Deputy Director of Thang Long Education Quality Assurance Center) announced the decisions to establish the Evaluation Team of 04 training programs.

Dr. Nguyen Thi Kim Phung (Director of Thang Long Education Quality Assessment Center) expressed her gratitude to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and teachers in the faculties in a very short time after the preliminary survey, on the basis of accepting the recommendations and supplementing the supporting documents as well as carefully preparing for the official survey. With the highest goal of the assessment activity being to exchange information openly to have the most objective assessments of the results achieved, at the same time, the Assessment Team can make useful recommendations for the University. The University of Social Sciences and Humanities has a long tradition of training and scientific research of nearly 80 years, along with the position and experience of a pioneer in conducting quality assessment of training programs, we are confident that the official survey of this 4th time will be a great success.

Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong expressed her joy when the teachers in the Evaluation Delegation of Thang Long Education Quality Assurance Center continued to accompany the School. In the process of preparing the supporting documents, we were very serious, careful and tried to arrange them scientifically according to the standards. However, it is inevitable that there will be some incomplete places. We hope that the Evaluation Delegation will accompany and support to point out the points that need to be improved, especially giving encouragement to help the School continue to improve the training quality of the 04 programs in the coming time.

Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong gave an overview of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the highlights of the 4 accredited training programs.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan (Head of the Faculty of Philosophy) on behalf of the 4 units expressed his joy at being one of the units with training programs being accredited this time. This is not only an opportunity for each unit to look back at its strengths and achievements, but more importantly, to see some shortcomings and inadequacies in order to improve and enhance the quality of training, to better serve society. We commit that during the time the Evaluation Team directly surveys the school, we will closely coordinate, provide full information, and provide maximum support to successfully complete the accreditation.

At the end of the Opening Ceremony, Principal Hoang Anh Tuan once again thanked the Thang Long Education Quality Assurance Center, the teachers in the Evaluation Team and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities for their support in the training quality assessment activities. The Evaluation Team, in addition to experts in the fields of training and educational management, is especially experienced in quality assessment activities, having participated in assessments at many different educational institutions, so it is certain that the assessments, recommendations and proposals made by the Team will be very objective, accurate and valuable to the University.

Principal Hoang Anh Tuan and Vice Principal Dang Thi Thu Huong presented flowers and took souvenir photos with the Delegation of the National Assembly, the leadership and lecturers of the 4 faculties with accredited training programs.
