The workshop is scheduled to be held on August 28, 2018 in Hanoi. It will feature presentations by two leading experts from around the world: Professor Anna Maria Tammaro (University of Parma, Italy) and Associate Professor Krystyna Matusiak (University of Denver, Colorado, USA).
The theme of the workshop.
- Analyzing the socio-economic context and the development of science and technology reveals the need for innovation in the Information and Library sector and information management, leading to international integration.
- The demand for human resources in the digital economy and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
- Essential competencies for information professionals in the digital economy and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
- Difficulties and challenges in developing training and human resource development programs.
- International cooperation in human resource training and development.
The above are some key directions; researchers can expand on this issue to address human resource development for the Information and Library Science sector and information management.

- Papers submitted to the conference must not have been previously published in any journal, scientific publication, or presented at any scientific conference.
- The article should not exceed 10,000 words (including references).
- Each article should include an abstract – no more than 200 words. An abstract in English is encouraged.
- Languages used: Vietnamese or English.
- Include complete information about the author, their affiliation, email address, and contact phone number.
- Font size 13, Font: Times New Roman
- Tables: Tables must be numbered, have a title, be printed in bold, and centered. Tables must have clear and accurate source citations. The title should be placed above the table.
