
In September 2018, the Global Young Challenger Program, supported by Kotra (Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency), Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Shinhan Bank, aimed to help young Koreans find work abroad. This year, the program sent 49 Korean students to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, to study Vietnamese language and culture, thereby preparing them with the best conditions to work and integrate into Vietnamese society.

At the meeting, Associate Professor Hoang Anh Tuan shared the core values of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with the guests, affirming that the University values preserving and promoting the strength of its cultural and historical traditions and humanistic knowledge while continuously promoting global integration activities. Vietnam and South Korea are currently strategic and comprehensive partners in various fields, and the University has close cooperative and exchange relationships with many universities and organizations in South Korea. The University is pleased to become a partner of the Global Young Challenger Program to help young Koreans gain a full and accurate understanding of the working environment in Vietnam. In the future, the University hopes to continue expanding cooperation with Shinhan Group and other corporations, businesses, development funds, and universities in South Korea.

In response, Mr. Cho Yong Byoung stated that Shinhan Group is particularly interested in investing in and developing its operations in the Vietnamese market. When operating in Vietnam, Shinhan Group not only pursues profit but also aims to bring sustainable and humane development values to society and the community. To achieve this, Shinhan hopes to collaborate and develop together with partners in Vietnam, including the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
