In September 2018, the Global Young Challenger Program was supported by Kotra (Korea Trade and Investment Promotion Agency), Korea University of Foreign Studies, and Shinhan Bank to help Korean youth work abroad. This year, the Program brought 49 Korean students to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU to study Vietnamese language and culture, thereby preparing the best conditions for young people to work and integrate into social life in Vietnam.
At the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan shared the core values of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities with the guests, affirming that the University attaches importance to preserving and promoting the strength of cultural traditions, history and humanistic knowledge while constantly promoting global integration activities. Vietnam and Korea are currently strategic and comprehensive partners in all fields and the University has close cooperative and exchange relationships with many Korean universities and organizations. The University is pleased to become a partner of the Global Young Challenger Program to help young Koreans have a full and accurate understanding of the working environment in Vietnam. In the future, the University hopes to continue expanding cooperation activities with Shinhan Group and other Korean corporations, enterprises, development funds and universities.
In response, Mr. Cho Yong Byoung said that Shinhan Group is particularly interested in investing in developing its activities in the Vietnamese market. When operating in Vietnam, Shinhan Group not only pursues profit goals but also wishes to bring sustainable and humane development values to society and the community.
