Dr. Luu Tuan Anh Honored with a Commendation from the President of South Korea

On October 8, 2024, at a ceremony commemorating the 578th anniversary of the proclamation of the Hangeul script, hosted by South Korea's Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Dr. Luu Tuan Anh, Head of the Korean Studies Department (Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University), was honored with a Commendation from the President of South Korea.
The presidential commendation and medal from South Korea are awarded to individuals and organizations for outstanding contributions to the development of Korean culture and language worldwide.
The Korean Studies Department, where Dr. Luu Tuan Anh works, is a pioneering unit in teaching and researching Korean Studies in Vietnam. Established in 1995, the department has made significant contributions to developing high-quality human resources for cultural, economic, and educational cooperation between Vietnam and South Korea.
