Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh receives the 2018 National Award for external communication

The Organizing Committee acclaimed 90 excellent works at the Ceremony that received 8 first awards, 17 second awards, 26 third awards and 40 consolation awards.

The book “Chính sách đối ngoại đổi mới của Việt Nam (1986-2015)” by Prof.Dr Pham Quang Minh focuses on analyzing the creation, dynamics and development of Vietnam's renovation foreign policy since 1986 to 2015. It has 3 main contents: the context and causes leading to Vietnam's renovation foreign policy; the development of Vietnam's renovation foreign policy since 1986 to 2015; and the lessons drawn from the renovation period. The author not only assesses the prominent achievements but also draws the experiences and identifies the shortcomings that need addressing to perfect Vietnam's foreign policy in the coming time.

2019 is the 5th year the Ceremony has been held. This year it receives nearly 1,000 works in the form of print and e-newspapers, radio and television products, and images and books presented in 13 languages by over 1,000 authors and groups of authors representing over 70 press agencies of different central government levels, over 60 local press agencies and 12 publishers nationwide, by overseas Vietnamese and foreign experts and reporters.

The Granting ceremony of the National Award external communication held by the Central Committee for Propaganda and the Steering Committee for external communication is an event honoring excellent journalistic and media products dealing with external communication and information, creating widespread influences and becoming an effective means of bringing the image of Vietnam to international friends around the world.
