USSH signs MOU with Fudan University (China)

At the ceremony, VNU's Vice Director Nguyen Hoang Hai said the training systems of Fudan University and VNU Hanoi share many similarities and the role of Fudan University towards China is similar to that of VNU towards Vietnam. In 2019, Vietnam and China will restart the scientific and educational joint projects under the framework of the Protocol, with the support of two countries' governments. Vice Director Nguyen Hoang Hai hoped the two sides would promote useful and thorough scientific and training linkages.

USSH's Rector Pham Quang Minh said the University and Fudan University have shared many academic exchanges and intercourses. Till now there not a few staff and students of USSH taking part in the programs held by Fudan University. He highly appreciated these programs for creating beneficial exchanges among students and lecturers of both sides. USSH is a long-standing and prestigious institution specializing in social sciences and humanities, especially given its Faculty of Oriental Studies and Center for Chinese Studies that make in-depth studies of Chinese language and culture.

For her part, Mrs.Jiao Yang said Fudan University is a traditional institution offering multiple disciplines such as Social Science, Natural Science, Technology and Bio-Medicine. To fulfill the task given by China's Government, Fudan University has been active in developing into one of the leading universities in not only China but also in the world. Driven by a research-based orientation, Fudan University has produced around 14.000-20.000 postgraduates. It aims to attract 5,000 excellent scientists from different countries.
