11. Tóm tắt kết quả mới của luận án
Hiện tượng chuyển di thường xảy ra trong các kết hợp sau:
(1) Kết hợp từ cố định giữa thực từ với giới từ gồm có:

Hiện tượng chuyển di tích cực thường xảy ra nhiều hơn hiện tượng chuyển di tiêu cực.
(2) Kết hợp từ cố định giữa thực từ và thực từ gồm có:

Hiện tượng chuyển di tích cực và hiện tượng chuyển di tiêu cực đều xảy ra rất phổ biến trong các kết hợp từ cố định giữa thực từ với thực từ.
12. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn:
- Kết quả nghiên cứu của luận án sẽ chỉ ra được năng lực sử dụng tiếng Anh ở đối tượng người viết có trình độ cao, có khả năng sử dụng tiếng Anh ở trình độ gần hoặc tương đương ngôn ngữ thứ nhất hay không.
- Luận án là tài liệu hữu ích cho việc giảng dạy và học ngoại ngữ do đã bước đầu khái quát hướng sử dụng tiếng Anh của người Việt, giúp cho người dạy và người học nhận ra được những thuận lợi và khó khăn mà người học có thể gặp phải trong quá trình viết các văn bản tiếng Anh học thuật. Từ đó, người dạy và người học có thể tìm ra những phương pháp dạy và học phù hợp để nâng cao chất lượng dạy và học ngoại ngữ.

Mở rộng phạm vi nghiên cứu trên các loại văn bản tiếng Anh khác, ngoài luận văn thạc sĩ viết bằng tiếng Anh do học viên Sau đại học người Việt viết.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
Lexical transfer frequently occurs in:

(1) Collocations of lexical word and prepositions which include:

  • Noun-preposition collocations;

  • Adjective-preposition collocations;

  • Verb-preposition collocations.

Positive transfer occurs more frequently in those collocations than negative one.

(2) Collocations of lexical word and lexical words which consist of:

  • Verb-noun collocations;

  • Verb-adverb collocations;

  • Adverb-verb collocations;

  • Adjective-noun collocations;

  • Adverb-adjective collocations.

Both types of lexical transfer frequently occur in those collocations.
12. Practical applicability, if any:

- The research results of the thesis will show whether or not the English language proficiency in highly qualified writers can use English at a level close to or equivalent to the first language.

- The thesis is a useful document for teaching and learning foreign languages ​​because it initially outlines the direction of Vietnamese learners to use English, helping teachers and learners realize the advantages and disadvantages that learners have encountered in the process of writing academic English texts. Thus, teachers and learners can find appropriate teaching and learning methods to improve the quality of foreign language teaching and learning.

Expanding the scope of research on other types of English texts, in addition to the master's thesis written in English by Vietnamese post-graduate students
