Summary of the findings of the thesis: Throughout the history, Vietnamese youth has been considered to be the mainstay of the country, the future of the nation and the happiness of every family. As proved by practices, youth plays a major role in the cause of building and defending the country. Such power and potential of young people were recognized and highly appreciated by President Ho Chi Minh On the basis of the research of basic theoretical beliefs of Marxist-Leninist towards youth, through practice of revolutionary struggle, through his own experiences during, Ho Chi Minh stated his own ideas on the important role of the youth in the Vietnamese revolution. From those perspectives, the Communist Party of Vietnam has motivated and mobilized creatively the role of Vietnamese Youth in the two wars of saving the country and against the invasion of the French Colonist and the American Imperialist as well as in the construction phase of the country towards socialism , especially in the period of accelerating industrialization and modernization of the country from 2001 to 2010. The viewpoints of the Party were certified and concretized by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Vietnam Youth Union under practical actions, contributing to the development of the youth movement. From 2001 to 2010, the youth work and youth movements Vietnam gained some achievements such as Communist Party of Vietnam issued a number of resolutions on the youth work (resolution No 4-Resolutions/Natinal Congress on the youth work in the new period, the resolution No. 25 "On intensifying the leadership of the Party towards youth work in the period of speeding up the nation’s industrialization and modernization"); the tasks of education and fostering the revolutionary ideals to youth were focused; youth played a leading role in the construction of the nation; organizations under the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union like the Vietnamese Youth Association had their role core and contributed actively to the development of the youth movement; young people more became more and more deserved to the role of the owner of the country's future. From the above results, a number of experiences have been drawn; it is essential for the Party to place an emphasis on and hold activities focusing on educating the young political theory and revolutionary youth traditions; there is a need for the Party to truly appreciate the role, position of the youth; proper revolutionary guidelines of the Party serve as the most influential factor to the ideals, dreams and play an important role in promoting the activeness, positiveness and creativity of the youth; based on the characteristics of young people the Party need to set up the content and mode of movement in accordance with the requirements and tasks of the youth; the Party also need to highly appreciate the role of the Youth organizations and Association as well. On the other hand, the youth work these days there are still a number of limitations ahead in spite of enormous achievements. To overcome the obstacles is necessary to implement the following measures: the Party needs to carry out its renewal of the leadership for the youth more regularly; also, there is a need to socialize youth work; the most basic youth work should be education and training; the building and strengthening the Youth Union Institutions must be focused in order to make them stronger. As well, the youth work is one of the key factors contributing to the successful implementation of the industrialization and modernization of the country in the current period. 12.
