10. Tóm tắt các kết quả của luận văn: 

Luận văn “Phát triển du lịch di sản kiến trúc đô thị khu phố Pháp ở Hải Phòng” tập trung nghiên cứu giá trị, tiềm năng và thực trạng khai thác di sản kiến trúc đô thị tại khu phố Pháp, nhằm đề xuất định hướng và giải pháp phát triển du lịch theo hướng bền vững, gắn với bảo tồn và phát huy giá trị di sản.

Nghiên cứu gồm 03 chương chính, với những nội dung và đóng góp nổi bật như sau:

- Khoảng trống nghiên cứu: Các nghiên cứu trước chủ yếu đề cập đến giá trị kiến trúc hoặc tiềm năng du lịch của khu phố Pháp, trong khi những nghiên cứu chuyên sâu, có tính hệ thống về phát triển du lịch di sản kiến trúc đô thị, gắn với bảo tồn, quản lý, sản phẩm và trải nghiệm du lịch còn hạn chế.

- Cơ sở lý luận: Luận văn hệ thống hóa các vấn đề lý luận về di sản kiến trúc đô thị, du lịch di sản và phát triển du lịch bền vững; đồng thời làm rõ mối quan hệ giữa di sản, không gian đô thị, sản phẩm du lịch và thị trường du lịch, từ đó đề xuất khung nghiên cứu phù hợp với khu phố Pháp ở Hải Phòng.

- Nghiên cứu thực trạng tại Hải Phòng: Thông qua khảo sát du khách, quan sát thực địa và phỏng vấn cộng đồng, doanh nghiệp, chuyên gia, nghiên cứu đánh giá giá trị và tiềm năng của khu phố Pháp, đồng thời phân tích thực trạng bảo tồn, quản lý, sản phẩm, trải nghiệm, hạ tầng, dịch vụ và hoạt động quảng bá du lịch.

- Phân tích cơ hội và thách thức: Luận văn chỉ ra tiềm năng lớn của khu phố Pháp trong phát triển du lịch dựa trên các giá trị lịch sử, kiến trúc và không gian đô thị. Tuy nhiên, hoạt động du lịch vẫn còn một số hạn chế như sản phẩm chưa đa dạng, khai thác chưa tương xứng với tiềm năng, hoạt động diễn giải di sản và truyền thông còn hạn chế, trong khi việc phối hợp giữa các bên liên quan cần được tăng cường.

- Đề xuất giải pháp: Luận văn đề xuất các nhóm giải pháp về bảo tồn và quản lý di sản; phát triển sản phẩm và nâng cao trải nghiệm; hoàn thiện hạ tầng; đẩy mạnh quảng bá và xây dựng thương hiệu; phát triển nguồn nhân lực; phát huy vai trò cộng đồng, doanh nghiệp và tăng cường hợp tác, liên kết.

- Đóng góp lý luận: Luận văn góp phần (i) bổ sung cơ sở lý luận về phát triển du lịch di sản kiến trúc đô thị; (ii) đề xuất khung nghiên cứu về mối quan hệ giữa di sản, bối cảnh đô thị, sản phẩm và thị trường du lịch; (iii) nhấn mạnh sự cần thiết của việc kết hợp bảo tồn di sản, phát triển du lịch và quy hoạch đô thị theo hướng bền vững.

11. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn: 

Luận văn có giá trị ứng dụng cao trong phát triển du lịch di sản kiến trúc đô thị. Kết quả nghiên cứu có thể được sử dụng để:

- Hỗ trợ cơ quan quản lý trong xây dựng chính sách, quy hoạch và giải pháp bảo tồn, phát huy hiệu quả giá trị di sản kiến trúc đô thị gắn với phát triển du lịch.

- Cung cấp cơ sở khoa học cho việc xây dựng sản phẩm du lịch như tham quan, trải nghiệm, diễn giải và kể chuyện di sản, góp phần nâng cao sức hấp dẫn của khu phố Pháp và du lịch Hải Phòng.

- Tăng cường sự tham gia của cộng đồng và doanh nghiệp trong bảo tồn, quản lý và phát huy giá trị di sản, hướng tới sự phối hợp hài hòa giữa các bên liên quan.

- Ứng dụng trong giáo dục và nghiên cứu, làm tài liệu tham khảo cho đào tạo trong lĩnh vực du lịch, văn hóa, di sản và cho các nghiên cứu về phát triển du lịch di sản kiến trúc đô thị tại những địa phương khác.

The thesis, “Developing Urban Architectural Heritage Tourism in the French Quarter of Hai Phong” focuses on examining the values, potential, and current state of tourism utilisation of the urban architectural heritage in Hai Phong’s French Quarter. It aims to propose orientations and solutions for sustainable tourism development in conjunction with the conservation and enhancement of heritage values.

The study consists of three main chapters, with the following key contents and contributions:

- Research gap: Previous studies have primarily addressed the architectural values or tourism potential of the French Quarter. However, comprehensive and systematic research on the development of urban architectural heritage tourism-integrating heritage conservation, management, tourism products, and visitor experiences-remains limited.

- Theoretical foundation: The thesis systematises the theoretical foundations of urban architectural heritage, heritage tourism, and sustainable tourism development. It also clarifies the interrelationships among heritage, urban space, tourism products, and the tourism market, thereby proposing an analytical framework appropriate to the context of Hai Phong’s French Quarter.

- Assessment of the current situation in Hai Phong: Drawing on visitor surveys, field observations, and interviews with local communities, businesses, and experts, the study evaluates the values and tourism potential of the French Quarter. It further analyses the current status of heritage conservation and management, tourism products and visitor experiences, infrastructure, tourism services, and destination marketing and promotion.

- Analysis of opportunities and challenges: The thesis identifies significant potential for tourism development based on the French Quarter’s historical, architectural, and urban spatial values. Nevertheless, tourism development continues to face several limitations, including an insufficient diversity of tourism products, a level of utilisation that does not yet fully reflect the area's potential, and limitations in heritage interpretation and destination communication. Furthermore, coordination among relevant stakeholders requires further strengthening.

- Proposed solutions: The thesis proposes a range of solutions concerning heritage conservation and management; tourism product development and visitor experience enhancement; infrastructure improvement; strengthened marketing and brand building; human resource development; community and business engagement; and enhanced cooperation and stakeholder linkages.

- Theoretical contributions: The thesis contributes to the field by: (i) enriching the theoretical foundation for the development of urban architectural heritage tourism; (ii) proposing a research framework that explains the relationships among heritage, urban context, tourism products, and the tourism market; and (iii) emphasising the need to integrate heritage conservation, tourism development, and urban planning within a sustainable development framework.

11. Practical applicability: 

The thesis has significant practical value for the development of urban architectural heritage tourism. Its research findings can be applied to:

- Support policymakers and management authorities in formulating policies, planning strategies, and solutions for the conservation and effective enhancement of urban architectural heritage in conjunction with tourism development.

- Provide a scientific basis for the development of tourism products, including heritage tours, experiential activities, heritage interpretation, and storytelling, thereby enhancing the attractiveness of Hai Phong’s French Quarter and the city’s tourism appeal.

- Promote greater participation by local communities and businesses in the conservation, management, and enhancement of heritage values, fostering harmonious and effective collaboration among relevant stakeholders.

- Support education and further research by serving as a reference for teaching and training in the fields of tourism, culture, and heritage, as well as for future studies on urban architectural heritage tourism development in other localities.
