A HIGH-RANKING VIETNAMESE ACADEMIC DELEGATION IS RESEARCHING IN VIENNA TO DEVELOP UNIVERSITY EDUCATION

[World Alliances Journal] VIENNA, 14 September 2023 - A Vietnamese educational delegation concluded its visit today to the Austrian capital Vienna, which lasted for two days and looked to promote scientific and educational cooperation and exchange of experiences and research with the leaders of the University of Vienna.

Vietnamese Ambassador to Vienna Nguyen Trung Kien said in his statements today that the delegation has included several leaders from the top universities in Vienna, led by Professor Le Quan, Member of the Vietnamese Parliament, President of the Vietnam National University in Hanoi and Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, President of the VNU University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Hanoi.

He indicated that the delegation visited the headquarters of the oldest Austrian and the World newspaper Wiener Zeitung (1703), where he stressed the need to develop media and journalism studies to keep up with technological advancements, the artificial intelligence revolution and social media sites.
The ambassador said that he agreed with the University of Vienna on an advanced program to exchange education experiences through "visiting professors".

The visit was coordinated by the Asian-European Media Forum ESCE, University of Vienna, Wiener Zeitung, ICI International chaired by Prof Thomas A Bauer, Dr Yen Platz and Dr Wolfgang Renner.
