The research has been co-funded by the Australian Government’s Department for Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT), Irish Embassy Viet Nam and UNDP.

Based on qualitative and quantitative research data, the research findings to be presented at the discussion will aim:

  • to highlight the roles, performance and contributions women representatives at the National Assembly and Provincial People’s Councils; and,
  • to suggest policy responses and actions to promote gender equity in elected bodies in Viet Nam during the 2021-2026 period and towards 2030.
