The Faculty of Linguistics and Vietnamese Studies – University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, was formed from the merger of two leading training units in linguistics and Vietnamese studies. Building on over 60 years of research and teaching tradition, the Faculty continuously expands its interdisciplinary, applied, and internationalized training areas, from theoretical and experimental linguistics to Vietnamese linguistics for foreigners. It serves as a place to spread Vietnamese language, culture, and identity to the world, while simultaneously training researchers, educators, and diplomats with a global mindset and Vietnamese character.
