To date, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities is a pioneer in Vietnam in providing systematic and comprehensive training for human resources in information management. In particular, from the 2019-2020 academic year, in addition to the standard Information Management program, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, will officially launch a high-quality Bachelor's program in Information Management – a tuition-based program that ensures quality in accordance with Circular 23/2014/TT of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Information management is an interdisciplinary science concerning the organization and utilization of information, encompassing: information gathering, information processing, information organization, analysis and evaluation, and information distribution to users in the most effective way possible, meaning providing information that meets the right needs, reaches the right audience, at the right time, and through the right means.
This is a high-quality, socially oriented training program – meaning training tailored to societal needs with standards approaching international benchmarks. The program is built upon the curriculum of Loughborough University, UK. Key features include the application of advanced teaching methods such as project-based learning and blended learning; 100% of courses utilize information technology in teaching and learning; a business internship program is organized from the end of the first year and continues throughout the course; and 30% of specialized courses are taught in English. Specifically, the business internship program accounts for a significant portion of the program, with 20 credits.
We will try to place students in internships at businesses starting from the end of their first year so that they gain a basic understanding of real-world operations. This way, upon returning to school, having some understanding of the business environment, they will know how to study effectively to meet the demands of the job. We hope that by their third year, after completing their major internship, students will be mature enough and ready to define their career paths.
