Objectives and scope:

The Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities is the official scientific publication of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi. The journal employs a double-checking peer review process to ensure high-quality published articles and to promote high-quality research in the social sciences and humanities. It is published every two months in both print and online formats.

The journal aims to publish and disseminate high-quality research papers on a wide range of topics related to contemporary social and cultural issues in Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and global issues. It publishes articles in various scientific disciplines/fields: sociology, anthropology, history, philosophy, political science, economics, educational studies, linguistics, literature and arts, etc., and other fields within the social sciences and humanities. The journal also welcomes interdisciplinary and interregional research focusing on the dynamics of society, culture, and human development in Vietnam, Southeast Asia, and the global context.

Serving as a scientific forum, the journal promotes research novelty and valuable scientific discussions. All manuscripts submitted for publication undergo a rigorous anonymous peer review process and are evaluated by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.
