2. Objectives of the training program

2.1. General Objectives

The goal is to train Master's graduates in Journalism who possess specialized knowledge, professional skills, critical thinking, strong ethics, and firm political convictions to work effectively in Vietnam's rapidly developing media industry, which is integrating internationally in the context of globalization.

2.2. Specific Objectives

The program equips students with knowledge equivalent to a master's degree in journalism, ensuring both fundamental and modern content, while also expanding and enhancing upon the bachelor's degree level, in line with the practical realities of journalism and media in the context of openness, integration, and globalization.

This program will help students gain a correct and in-depth understanding of the field of journalism and media. After completing the course, students will have sufficient competence to work professionally in journalism and media and will be able to continue their studies, participate in higher education, or accumulate experience to become leaders and experts in the field of journalism and media.

3. Admission Information

3.1. Entrance Examination Subjects

+ Basic subjects:Basic methods in media research

+ Foundation subjects:Journalism and media theory

+ Foreign Language: One of the following five languages: English, French, Russian, Chinese, or German.

3.2. Eligibility Criteria:

3.2.1. Regarding qualifications:Meet one of the following conditions

- Have a university degree in Journalism, orsuitable industry(Multimedia, Public Relations, International Communications);

- I have a university degree.related industryI majored in Journalism and completed supplementary courses to achieve a level equivalent to a university degree in Journalism.

3.2.2. Regarding experiencecollaborate

- Individuals with a university degree classified as "good" or higher are eligible to take the entrance exam immediately after graduating from a university with a degree in a field directly related to or compatible with Journalism.

- Individuals with a university degree of average or above average grade in a field directly related to or relevant to Journalism, or a degree in a field closely related to Journalism, must have at least one year of work experience in the field of journalism and media (calculated from the date of the university graduation certificate to the date of the exam).
