2. Objectives of the training program:
2.1. General Objectives
- The Master's program in Political Science, specializing in Ho Chi Minh Studies, aims to train Master's graduates in Political Science, specializing in Ho Chi Minh Studies, who possess a solid understanding of the general knowledge system of Political Science at an advanced level compared to the Bachelor's degree; have a relatively deep and broad understanding of the life, career, and thought of Ho Chi Minh; are able to apply the knowledge and methods of Ho Chi Minh Studies to practice; are capable of working in the field of research and teaching of Ho Chi Minh Studies; and possess good personal and professional ethics, actively participating in the cause of protecting, building, and developing the country.
2.2. Specific Objectives
- To equip postgraduate students with knowledge of Vietnamese and world politics; the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh and the fundamental contents of Ho Chi Minh's thought on the Vietnamese revolution, etc., reflected in the foundational and specialized knowledge blocks, in accordance with the requirements of the Master's program in Ho Chi Minh Studies, ensuring its fundamental nature, national character, modernity, and practical relevance;
- To provide postgraduate students with additional general scientific research methods, specialized research methods, and professional skills and expertise to enhance their independence and creativity in research, teaching, and practical political and social activities;
- Upon completion of the course, postgraduate students will have enhanced their professional skills and expertise, possessing the political stance and fortitude to meet the requirements of building and defending the socialist Fatherland, promoting industrialization and modernization, opening up and integrating into the region and the international community; they will be able to work in research and teaching of Ho Chi Minh Thought and Political Science in universities and colleges, provide political consulting in agencies within the political system, mass organizations, socio-economic organizations, and work as political commentators in press and publishing agencies;

3. Admission Information
3.1 Admission methods
The entrance exam includes the following subjects:

3.2. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants for the Master's program in Ho Chi Minh Studies must meet all of the following conditions:
- Has a clean personal record and is not currently under criminal investigation;
- Possess a university degree in a field directly related to or relevant to Political Science; or possess a university degree in a related field and a certificate from a supplementary knowledge course (25 credits) to achieve a level equivalent to a university degree in Political Science.
3.3. List of suitable and related fields:
Suitable industry: Party and state administration, state management, international relations, or fields where the content and duration of study from different knowledge areas are less than 10% compared to political science.
Related industries:Civics, Political Science, National Defense and Security, International Studies, Oriental Studies, Southeast Asian Studies, Chinese Studies, Japanese Studies, Korean Studies, Pacific Studies, Philosophy, History, Cultural Studies, Economics, International Economics, Sociology, Anthropology, Psychology, Journalism, International Communication, Public Relations, Management Science, Law, Public Administration in Security and Order, or other disciplines with content and study time from different knowledge blocks ranging from 10% to 40% compared to Political Science.
