2.1 General Objectives

2.2. Specific Objectives

- The Master's program in Archaeology aims to provide educational institutions, scientific research agencies, and state management agencies in the field of culture with highly specialized human resources in archaeology for teaching, scientific research, and practical work. Graduates with a Master's degree in Archaeology can organize and lead archaeological excavations and surveys, conduct independent research on issues related to archaeological sites and artifacts, advise on conservation and restoration projects, and promote the values ​​of Vietnamese cultural heritage. They also possess strong teamwork, teaching, and international research collaboration skills.

3. Admission Information

- Entrance exam subjects:

• Basic Examination Subject: Methodology of Historical Studies.
• Foundation subject: Vietnamese History
• Foreign Language: Choose one of five languages: English, Russian, French, German, or Chinese;

- Eligibility requirements: Applicants for the master's degree program must meet all of the following conditions:

+ Has a clean personal record and is not currently under criminal investigation;

+ Possess a university degree in a field directly related to (or relevant to) Archaeology; or possess a regular university degree in a field closely related to Archaeology, having completed supplementary courses to achieve a level equivalent to a university degree in the field for which the exam is being applied.

+ Must be in good health to study;

+ Submit all required documents, certificates, papers, and examination fees fully, correctly, and on time as stipulated by Hanoi National University and the training unit.
