2. Objectives of the training program
2.1. General Objectives
The Master's program in World History ensures a fundamental and modern level of expertise, in-depth study of world history, and contributes to providing high-quality human resources for the country in the context of integration and globalization.
2.2 Specific Objectives
The Master's program in World History aims to provide educational institutions, scientific research agencies, and state management agencies in foreign affairs and international cooperation with highly specialized human resources in world history for teaching, scientific research, and practical work.
3. Admission Information
- Entrance exam subjects:
+ Foreign Language: One of five languages: English, Russian, French, German, or Chinese.
- Eligibility requirements: Applicants for the master's degree program must meet all of the following conditions:
+ Has a clean personal record and is not currently under criminal investigation;
+ Possess a university degree in a field directly related to (or relevant to) World History; or possess a regular university degree in a field closely related to World History, having completed supplementary courses to achieve a level equivalent to a university degree in the field for which the exam is being applied.
+ Have at least one year of work experience in a professional field relevant to the World History major (calculated from the date of the university graduation certificate to the date of the exam), except for those with a university degree of "good" or higher, in a field directly related to (or relevant to) World History;
+ Must be in good health to study;
+ Submit all required documents, certificates, papers, and examination fees fully, correctly, and on time as stipulated by Hanoi National University and the training unit.

+ Related fields are those where 60-90% of the coursework overlaps with the History program, such as Philosophy, Oriental Studies, International Studies, Vietnamese Studies, Political Science, Archival Studies, Anthropology, etc.
+ Suitable majors include History majors at universities nationwide, or majors with at least 90% of their coursework overlapping with the History program.
