2. Objectives of the training program

2.1 General objectives

• Systematize basic knowledge;
• Build and develop skills to apply theoretical knowledge of religious studies to solve practical problems for students;
• Practice thinking to approach new problems in practical activities.

After graduating with a master's degree in Applied Religious Studies, students will accumulate a system of theoretical knowledge and proficient skills in applying those theories to solve problems of religious life in Vietnam, have the ability to work independently and creatively; have the ability to apply research results, discover and organize the implementation of complex tasks in professional activities, promote and effectively use specialized knowledge of Religious Studies to perform specific tasks, suitable to the actual conditions of agencies, organizations, and economic units; in addition, students will also have the ability to continue researching and studying at higher levels.

2.2 Specific objectives

- Students build their own skills or develop existing skills to apply in practice;

3. Admission information

3.1 Admission form:Entrance exam with the following subjects:

• Basic Exam Subject: Marxist-Leninist Philosophy (Non-philosophy major)
• Basic Exam: General Religious Studies
• Foreign Language: Level B, one of the following 5 foreign languages: English, Russian, French, German, Chinese (equivalent to level 3/6 according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework for Vietnamese people)

3.2. Admission objects:

- Candidates for the applied-oriented master's program in religious studies must meet the following conditions:

+ Have a clear personal history, not currently being prosecuted for criminal liability;

- Have a university degree in the correct, appropriate or related major and other majors that have received supplementary knowledge to have a level equivalent to a university degree in Religious Studies;

- Submit all diplomas, certificates, documents and exam fees in full, in accordance with procedures and on time as prescribed by Hanoi National University and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

-About seniority:

+ For those with a university degree in the correct or appropriate field: no work experience required.

+ For those with a university degree in a related field: must have at least 01 year of work experience in a field related to the major of Religious Studies;

+ For those with a university degree in another major: must have at least 02 years of work experience in a field related to Religious Studies.
