In the program “Sharing with Japanese friends” on March 23, 2011, 10,000 paper cranes praying for the victims of the earthquake and tsunami were presented to Japanese friends through the representative Mr. Takeji Yoshikawa, Director of the Vietnam - Japan Cultural Exchange Center.

On January 20, 2011, VNU held a conference to review the first phase of credit training (2006-2010) at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The conference aimed to evaluate the results achieved in the first phase of credit training and discuss basic solutions and tasks to implement the conversion of credit training in the next phase.

The Center for Journalism and Communication reviews 10 outstanding events of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in the 2009-2010 school year.

Taking place on September 11, 2010, the signing ceremony between Vietnamese and Chinese universities at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was witnessed by a high-ranking delegation from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (China), representatives of the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and relevant parties.

1,261 out of 1,351 students summoned came to complete admission procedures on September 5, 2010. The Center for Journalism and Communication reflected the atmosphere of the admission day and the wishes of students and their relatives on this day.

On the eve of the 26th Congress of the Party Committee of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Party Committee Secretary, Rector of the University) shared about the achievements of the 25th term and the orientations for the 26th term.
