University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

The Training Department is responsible for advising and assisting the Rector in developing plans and implementing policies of the Ministry of Education and Training, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and the University of Social Sciences and Humanities regarding undergraduate and postgraduate training; organizing, directing, implementing, and supervising teaching and learning activities for all training systems and levels from undergraduate to postgraduate according to current regulations.

This was the theme of the international scientific conference organized by the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, with the support and collaboration of the French Institute for Development Research (IRD) and the Vingroup Innovation Foundation (VinIF), taking place on December 3, 2024.

I met Professor Nguyen Quang Hung at the school canteen. His simple appearance and sincere stories about his many years of teaching alongside his scientific research in Philosophy and Religious Studies filled me with admiration and respect for an educator and scientist who has dedicated his entire life to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
