The documentary film “Vietnam 1954 - Glory and Tears” directed by a group of lecturers and former students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities won the highest prize - A Prize at the 19th National Press Awards Ceremony - 2024 held on the evening of June 21, 2025 in Hanoi.

On the morning of June 18, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), comrade Phan Xuan Thuy - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission visited and congratulated the Institute of Journalism and Communication (University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU). Accompanying him were representatives of the Board's functional units.
