Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department Phan Xuan Thuy visited and congratulated the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Press Day.At the meeting, Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy extended warm congratulations to the staff, lecturers, and students of the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, acknowledging the Institute's important contributions to the development of Vietnam's revolutionary journalism. According to him, in the context of modern media and the rapidly developing digital society, the role of journalism and communication training is becoming increasingly crucial.
Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy congratulated the teachers of the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnamese Revolutionary Journalism.“The Institute of Journalism and Communication Training needs to continue to leverage its strengths to become a PROFESSIONAL training center, deeply rooted in HUMANISM and at the forefront of MODERN trends in journalism and communication,” he emphasized. These are also the three pillars that clearly guide the sustainable development of the school in general and the Institute in particular in the era of comprehensive digital transformation.
On behalf of the University's leadership, Professor Hoang Anh Tuan, Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, respectfully thanked the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department for its profound interest in the training, research, and development of human resources in journalism and communication. The Professor expressed his hope to continue receiving the Department's support, guidance, and direction in the future, so that the University and the Institute can successfully fulfill their educational mission in the new context.
The Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities expressed his deep gratitude for the attention given to the University by the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.On behalf of the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training, Director Phan Van Kien reviewed the outstanding achievements over the unit's 35 years of formation and development. With significant progress in training, scientific research, and domestic and international cooperation, the Institute is gradually asserting its position as one of the leading journalism training and research institutions in Vietnam, affirming its "brand" of comprehensive journalism and humanistic communication within the system of journalism and communication training and research institutions nationwide. Dr. Kien emphasized that the Institute aims to connect and form a community of journalism and communication research and training units across the country, developing together in the future and reaching international standards.
Immediately after the meeting, the delegation toured and experienced the Institute's facilities. With a system of studios, virtual studios, post-production editing rooms, and modern recording and filming equipment worth tens of billions of VND, the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training demonstrated its readiness in terms of infrastructure to meet the requirements of professional practice according to international standards.

Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy's visit and words of encouragement are not only a recognition but also a great source of inspiration for the Institute of Journalism and Communication Training to continue affirming its identity – professionalism in training, humanism in approach, and modernity in methodology – for a new generation of journalists who are courageous, creative, and responsible to the community.
