2. Objectives of the training program

2.1. General Objectives

The Master's program in the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam ensures a fundamental and modern approach, providing in-depth knowledge of Party history and contributing to the supply of high-quality human resources for the country in the context of integration and globalization.

2.2 Specific Objectives

The Master's program in the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam aims to provide educational institutions, scientific research agencies, and Party organizations with highly specialized human resources in Party history for teaching, scientific research, and practical activities.

3. Admission Information

- Entrance exam subjects:

+ Basic subject: Methodology of historical studies.

+ Foundation subject: Vietnamese History

+ Foreign Language: Choose one of five languages: English, Russian, French, German, or Chinese.

- Eligibility requirements: Applicants for the master's degree program must meet all of the following conditions:

+ Has a clean personal record and is not currently under criminal investigation;

+ Possess a university degree in a field directly related to (or relevant to) the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam; or possess a regular university degree in a field closely related to the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam, having completed supplementary courses to achieve a level equivalent to a university degree in the field for which the exam is being applied.

+ Have at least one year of work experience in a professional field relevant to the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam major (calculated from the date of signing the decision recognizing university graduation to the date of the exam), except for those with a university degree of "good" or higher, in a major that is correct (or relevant) to the History of the Communist Party of Vietnam major;

+ Must be in good health to study;

+ Submit all required documents, certificates, papers, and examination fees fully, correctly, and on time as stipulated by Hanoi National University and the training unit.

+ Related fields are those where 60-90% of the course modules overlap with the History program, such as Philosophy, Oriental Studies, International Studies, Vietnamese Studies, Political Science, Archival Studies, and Anthropology;

+ Suitable majors include History majors at universities nationwide, or majors with at least 90% of their coursework overlapping with the History program.
