With the passage of time, archival documents have become a special kind of treasure, needing to be cherished and preserved, as they contain messages from the past. To extend the life of archival documents, society needs a profession: archiving. This profession helps the State, agencies, organizations, and businesses select and preserve documents, papers, images, films, drawings, files, etc., in a scientific and orderly manner to promptly serve the diverse needs of society. The archiving profession contributes to preserving the treasure of human knowledge throughout history.
