2. Objectives of the training program

2.1. Mục tiêu chung

Đào tạo thạc sĩ chuyên ngành Lịch sử Việt Nam đảm bảo tính cơ bản và hiện đại, chuyên sâu về Việt Nam, cung cấp nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao, góp phần thúc đẩy quá trình phát triển và hội nhập của đất nước trong bối cảnh toàn cầu hóa.

2.2 Mục tiêu cụ thể

Đào tạo thạc sĩ chuyên ngành Lịch sử Việt Nam nhằm cung cấp cho các cơ sở giáo dục, các cơ quan nghiên cứu khoa học và hoạt động thực tiễn nguồn nhân lực chất lượng cao chuyên sâu về lịch sử Việt Nam làm công tác giảng dạy, nghiên cứu khoa học và hoạt động thực tiễn.

3. Thông tin tuyển sinh

- Môn thi tuyển sinh:

• Môn thi Cơ bản: Phương pháp luận sử học
• Môn thi Cơ sở: Lịch sử Việt Nam
• Môn Ngoại ngữ: 1 trong 5 thứ tiếng Anh, Nga, Pháp, Đức, Trung Quốc.

- Đối tượng tuyển sinh: thí sinh dự tuyển chương trình đào tạo thạc sĩ chuyên ngành phải đáp ứng đầy đủ các điều kiện sau đây:

+ Has a clean personal record and is not currently under criminal investigation;

+ Possess a university degree in a field directly related to (or relevant to) Vietnamese History; or possess a regular university degree in a field closely related to Vietnamese History, having completed supplementary courses to achieve a level equivalent to a university degree in the field for which the exam is being applied.

+ Have at least one year of work experience in a professional field relevant to the Vietnamese History major (calculated from the date of the university graduation certificate to the date of the exam), except for those with a university degree of "good" or higher, in a major that is directly related (or relevant) to the Vietnamese History major;

+ Must be in good health to study;

+ Submit all required documents, certificates, papers, and examination fees fully, correctly, and on time as stipulated by Hanoi National University and the training unit.

- List of related fields and fields suitable for the proposed field or specialization for which training is permitted:

+ Related fields are those where 60-90% of the course modules overlap with the History program, such as Philosophy, Oriental Studies, International Studies, Vietnamese Studies, Political Science, Archival Studies, Anthropology, etc.;

+ Suitable majors include History majors at universities nationwide, or majors with at least 90% of their coursework overlapping with the History program.
