2. Training Objectives
- Overall objective:
To train graduates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and attitudes to work in the field of linguistics.
- Specific objectives:
+ To provide students with general knowledge of social sciences and humanities; basic knowledge of linguistics; languages ​​and cultures of ethnic groups in Vietnam; and initial knowledge in specialized fields (Linguistics, Vietnamese Linguistics for Foreigners), serving research, teaching, and state management work in linguistics, the Vietnamese language, and Vietnamese culture;
+To train students in basic professional skills (observation skills, analytical and synthesis skills in linguistic science, presentation and document drafting skills, etc.), and supplementary skills (communication skills, teamwork skills, foreign language skills, information technology skills) necessary for professional activities related to linguistics;
+ To train students to initially possess the ability to research, teach, manage, and advise in linguistics, language, and culture; to help learners continue their studies at the master's level in Linguistics or other related fields.
