2. Objectives of the training program

2.1 General Objectives

The Bachelor of Information Management program is designed to train high-quality human resources with a solid foundation in information management, information systems, data analysis, and data mining in a digital environment. Students are equipped with theoretical knowledge and practical skills, and the ability to apply modern technologies such as artificial intelligence, data analytics, digital content management, and digital business to solve information management problems in organizations and businesses. The program emphasizes the development of innovative thinking, design thinking, communication skills, research skills, and entrepreneurial abilities, helping students adapt quickly to digital transformation trends in the context of globalization. Graduates will possess high professional competence, strong professional ethics, and the ability to adapt and thrive in the fields of information management, data analytics, digital content management, and digital entrepreneurship, meeting the increasingly high demands of the domestic and international labor markets.

2.2 Specific Objectives

The Bachelor of Information Management program aims to equip students with:

- To equip learners with foundational and interdisciplinary knowledge, including political theory, philosophy, economics, sociology, law, social sciences and humanities, information technology, AI tools, along with creative thinking and entrepreneurship, to help them effectively understand, analyze, and address academic and real-life issues in the contemporary context, while also developing the foundational capacity to access specialized fields within the industry;

- Applying in-depth knowledge of information management, information systems, data management, and digital content, combined with the ability to analyze and evaluate digital business models, communication strategies, user behavior, and legal and ethical factors, to propose innovative solutions that promote innovation and entrepreneurship to optimize information operations within organizations and businesses;

- Developing professional and technological skills including academic English; collecting, processing, analyzing, visualizing, and storytelling using data; flexibly applying digital tools, artificial intelligence, analytical software, and digital media platforms to create content and solutions for the effective implementation of information and communication management activities;

- Develop organizational and management skills through designing and coordinating research, administration, and communication activities; effectively solve problems, manage projects, communicate, present, negotiate, and work in teams; while fostering an entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and adaptability in a multicultural, multidisciplinary, and rapidly changing environment;

- To develop self-reliance, responsibility, and a sustainable development orientation with critical and systems thinking; the ability to proactively plan, make decisions, monitor, and improve professional activities; to demonstrate professional ethics, social responsibility, a spirit of lifelong learning, and the ability to adapt to the rapid changes in technology and the market; and to foster creative thinking and a pioneering spirit in innovation and entrepreneurship.

PART II: LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM

1. Regarding knowledge

PLO 01: Applying basic knowledge of political theory, philosophy, economics, sociology, law, and technology to understand and address academic and real-life issues in the contemporary context;

PLO 02: Applying fundamental knowledge of academic standards, professional ethics, creative thinking, design thinking, entrepreneurship, information technology, and AI tools to analyze and solve professional and life problems in the context of the digital age;

PLO 03: Able to apply fundamental knowledge of management, communication, scientific research methods, principles, models, and processes in the field of social sciences and humanities;

PLO 04: Applying in-depth knowledge of information management, information systems, data management, and digital content to build, manage, and optimize information systems in organizations and businesses, while supporting the development of innovative solutions for startups;

PLO 05: Analyzing and evaluating digital business models, communication strategies, user behavior, and legal and ethical factors in the digital environment, thereby proposing innovative solutions to improve information management efficiency and promote entrepreneurship.

2. Regarding skills

PLO 06: Proficient in academic English in the social sciences and humanities in academic and professional environments at level B1, equivalent to level 3 (according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework used in Vietnam) as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training and Hanoi National University;

PLO 07: Design and organize research, management, communication, and teamwork activities to implement research, carry out professional activities, and develop startup ideas and projects;

PLO 08: Practice and master the skills of collecting, processing, analyzing, visualizing, and storytelling using data to support decision-making in a digital environment;

PLO 09: Flexibly utilize digital technology tools, AI tools, data analytics software, and digital media platforms to build content and implement effective communication, marketing, and information management campaigns;

PLO 10: Effectively implement problem-solving, project management, communication, presentation, negotiation, and teamwork skills in a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment; foster flexible thinking, innovation, and entrepreneurship in a digital workplace.

3. Level of autonomy and responsibility

PLO 11: Develop critical thinking and systems thinking to scientifically build and defend personal viewpoints; demonstrate autonomy in planning, decision-making, monitoring, and improving professional activities in accordance with the professional context; encourage innovation and entrepreneurship;

+ Information and data management field: Information, record, and document management specialists in government agencies, social organizations, and businesses; Information system administrators, data managers, data analysts, and data visualization specialists for decision-making; Data quality control specialists, information security specialists, and legal compliance specialists in the digital environment;

+ Digital content, media and marketing field: Specialists in digital content creation and management, brand management, and multi-channel communication; Specialists in content marketing, SEO, search engine optimization, and user experience (UI/UX); Specialists in internal communications and digital communications for organizations and businesses;

+ Business Information Technology and Systems Sector: ERP, CRM, e-commerce, and digital platform implementation and management specialists; Requirements analysis, design, and improvement specialists for enterprise information processes; IT and digital transformation project management specialists;

+ Research, consulting, and development areas: Research staff in institutes, research centers, and universities specializing in information management, data, content, and digital communication; Consultants on information strategy, content strategy, and digital transformation solutions for organizations and businesses; Founders or co-founders of startups in the field of information technology, data, and digital communication;

+ Teaching and Training: Lecturers teaching subjects related to information management, data management, digital content, digital communication, and digital marketing at training institutions; Internal training specialists for businesses on information management skills, data management, and the application of digital tools;
