Currently, the Faculty offers a Bachelor's degree program in International Studies. A key feature that defines the Faculty of International Studies is its modern, comprehensive, and flexible curriculum, designed with a high degree of interdisciplinary integration and accredited by the ASEAN University Network (AUN). Students not only learn fundamental theories of international relations, global law, and economics, but also gain access to up-to-date topics on regional studies, non-traditional security issues, sustainable development, and global cooperation.

With four specialized areas of study – International Relations, European Studies, American Studies, and International Development Studies – the curriculum is constantly updated to reflect real-world practices, while also aiming to train individuals capable of understanding the international context to act effectively for Vietnam.

One of the factors contributing to the quality of the Faculty of International Studies is its team of leading lecturers in the field of international studies in Vietnam. 100% of the faculty members hold postgraduate degrees. Sixteen out of seventeen lecturers hold doctoral degrees or higher. Many lecturers were trained at prestigious universities in the UK, France, Germany, Japan, and the USA, possessing extensive practical experience and the ability to teach bilingually.
The faculty members of the Department are not only lecturers but also researchers, policy advisors, and experts in the field of international relations studies... always ready to support and inspire students. In addition, the Department maintains cooperative relationships with many universities and international organizations, creating opportunities for students to participate in exchange programs, internships, and research abroad.

In addition to academic activities, international students always stand out with their vibrant academic and extracurricular environment. Clubs such as the International Speaker Club and the FIS English Club, along with international conferences, seminars, summer camps, and international debate and research competitions, help students develop critical thinking skills, cross-cultural communication, and teamwork.

Students also have many opportunities for academic exchange and internships abroad, participating in welcoming heads of state and international delegations, or visiting embassies, international organizations, and businesses for practical experience.

Graduates with a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from the Faculty can take on positions at:
Diplomatic agencies, international organizations, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
Foreign press and media agencies
Multinational corporations, international consulting firms
Universities and research institutes both domestically and internationally.
In particular, the Faculty focuses on career counseling and connecting students with employers, with numerous career workshops, professional mentoring programs, and a strong alumni network – serving as a bridge to help students access the real working environment from a very early age.
With its strengths in training programs, faculty, and development opportunities, the Faculty of International Studies is an ideal choice for those who wish to become global citizens and contribute to Vietnam's development and integration into the world.
