Modern and diverse training program

Currently, the Faculty offers a bachelor's degree program in International Studies. The highlight that makes the identity of the Faculty of International Studies is its modern, comprehensive and flexible training program, designed with high interdisciplinary nature, which has been accredited by the ASEAN University Network (AUN). Students not only learn fundamental theories of international relations, law and global economics but also have access to updated topics on regional studies, non-traditional security issues, sustainable development and global cooperation.
 

With 4 specialized majors: International Relations, European Studies, American Studies and International Development Studies - the curriculum is always updated to be close to reality, and at the same time aims to train people who are able to understand the international context to act effectively for Vietnam.

Quality faculty and international cooperation

One of the factors that make up the quality of the Faculty of International Studies is the leading faculty in the field of international studies in Vietnam. 100% of the faculty's lecturers have postgraduate degrees. The faculty has 16/17 lecturers with PhD degrees or higher. Many lecturers were trained at prestigious universities in the UK, France, Germany, Japan, the US... with rich practical experience and bilingual teaching ability.

The Faculty’s staff are not only teachers but also researchers, policy advisors, experts in the field of international relations research... always ready to accompany and inspire students. In addition, the Faculty maintains cooperative relationships with many international universities and organizations, creating conditions for students to participate in exchange programs, internships and research abroad.

In addition to academic activities, International Studies students always stand out with a vibrant academic and extracurricular environment. Clubs such as International Speakers, FIS English Club, along with international seminars, symposiums, summer camps, debate competitions, international research, etc. help students practice critical thinking skills, cross-cultural communication and teamwork.
 

Students also have many opportunities for academic exchange and internship abroad, to participate in welcoming heads of state and international delegations, or to visit embassies, international organizations and businesses.

International Bachelor graduates from the Faculty can take up positions at:
