2. Objectives of the training program
2.1 General Objectives
The Bachelor of Psychology program aims to train graduates with a fundamental understanding of social sciences and humanities in general, and in-depth expertise in specific specialized fields within psychology (social psychology, business management psychology, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, and developmental psychology), meeting the societal needs for teaching, research, and practice in psychology.
2.2 Specific Objectives
- To equip students with fundamental knowledge in the social sciences and humanities; basic and foundational knowledge in psychology regarding natural and social factors, research methods, and other fundamental knowledge in psychology. Through this, students will be able to support the resolution of psychological problems arising in society in specialized fields such as counseling psychology, management and business psychology, clinical psychology, social psychology, and developmental psychology;
- Students will develop professional skills related to their chosen field, such as designing and conducting research, analyzing and interpreting, and identifying and evaluating psychological phenomena in life. In addition, students will be equipped with supplementary skills such as digital skills and foreign language proficiency to adapt and work in a global environment in the context of digitalization.
- Develop a spirit of self-learning, working independently or in teams under changing conditions. Understand and adhere to ethical principles in the future of psychology.

PART II: LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM
1. Regarding knowledge
PLO 01. Applying basic knowledge of political theory, philosophy, economics, sociology, law, and technology to understand and address academic and real-life issues in the contemporary context;
PLO 02. Applying fundamental knowledge of academic standards, professional ethics, creative thinking, design thinking, entrepreneurship, information technology, and AI tools to analyze and solve professional and life problems in the context of the digital age;
PLO 03. Able to apply basic concepts, theories, methods, and knowledge in the field of social sciences and humanities to conduct research and perform professional activities;
PLO 04. Applying fundamental knowledge of biological and social factors in the formation and development of human psychology in learning and research, explaining psychological issues in general in life;
PLO 05. Using research methods in the field of psychology to study and explain human psychological phenomena;
PLO 06. Applying specialized knowledge in psychology to support the resolution of psychosocial problems in the fields of labor, organization, business, society, and community;
PLO 07. Utilizing specialized knowledge in psychology to assess, intervene in/support mental health and human development issues.
2. Regarding skills
PLO 08. Design and implement basic research in psychology;
PLO 09. Analyzing and resolving psychological issues in labor, organizations, business, society, and communities;
PLO 10. Identifying and assessing mental health issues and supporting human development in individual, group, and community-based psychological counseling/consultation and therapy;
PLO 11. Possess communication and teamwork skills; digital skills to work in a digitized environment;
PLO 12. Proficiency in academic English in the social sciences and humanities in academic and professional environments at level B1, equivalent to level 3 (according to the 6-level foreign language proficiency framework used in Vietnam) as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training and Hanoi National University.

After graduation, students can continue their studies in postgraduate programs (Master's and Doctoral degrees) in Psychology offered at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, or at other institutions in Vietnam and abroad that offer psychology programs.
