2. Objectives of the training program
2.1. General Objectives
The Bachelor of Philosophy program aims to equip students with a solid foundation in various philosophical fields, from political theory and general knowledge of social sciences and humanities to in-depth specialized knowledge. The program places particular emphasis on developing critical thinking skills, the ability to systematically and critically analyze and evaluate issues, and the ability to apply philosophical knowledge to solve theoretical and practical problems in the contemporary and digital age context. Furthermore, the program trains human resources with strong moral character, political acumen, solid professional and supporting skills, self-reliance, self-direction, and a high sense of responsibility in their work and society, ready to meet the demands of the labor market and contribute to the overall development of organizations and society.
2.2. Specific Objectives
- To equip students with foundational knowledge and the ability to analyze theoretical issues in politics, philosophy, economics, society, law, technology, as well as specialized and interdisciplinary knowledge in the field of philosophy (including specialized areas such as Marxist-Leninist Philosophy, Scientific Socialism, History of Western Philosophy and Religion, History of Eastern Philosophy and Religion, Philosophy of Logic, Philosophy of Ethics and Art, and Philosophy of Management);
- Learners will be able to design scientific research topics, effectively utilize technological tools (office software, internet, AI tools) and foreign languages to analyze and synthesize information, argue and present results logically and persuasively, as well as effectively coordinate in teamwork and organize professional activities;
- To foster a sense of responsibility, professional ethics, and strong civic and political awareness, demonstrating respect for scientific standards, humanistic values, and intellectual diversity. Learners will be capable of self-reliance, self-direction, independent judgment, and responsible decision-making, while maintaining a lifelong learning spirit to adapt to change.

PART II: LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE TRAINING PROGRAM
1. Regarding knowledge
- PLO 01: Applying basic knowledge of political theory, philosophy, economics, sociology, law, and technology to understand academic and life issues in a contemporary context;
- PLO 02: Able to apply fundamental knowledge of academic standards, professional ethics, design thinking, entrepreneurship, information technology, and AI tools to analyze and solve professional and life problems in the context of the digital age;
- PLO 03: Analyze the relationships between philosophy and other fields of social sciences and humanities, and with social life, to clarify practical issues from an interdisciplinary perspective;
- PLO 04: Analyzing theoretical and practical issues in the operation of organizations and social development based on the systematic application of the principles of Marxism-Leninism, Ho Chi Minh Thought, and knowledge from various philosophical fields (Eastern philosophy and religion, Western philosophy and religion, philosophy of logic, philosophy of ethics and art, philosophy of management);
- PLO 05: Evaluate the typical ideas, schools of thought, and philosophers in the history of philosophy, Marxist-Leninist philosophy, and the history of Vietnamese thought, as well as the theoretical and practical issues of socio-political life.
2. Regarding skills

- PLO 08: Designing a scientific research topic in the field of philosophy, from identifying the research question, selecting appropriate methods, constructing arguments to presenting and defending research results clearly, logically, and persuasively through diverse forms of communication (academic writing, presentations, lectures, discussions);
- PLO 09: Effectively control the self-learning process, group activities, and organization; capable of listening, synthesizing diverse viewpoints, and coordinating to achieve common goals;
- PLO 10: Effectively coordinate information technology, AI tools, the internet, and foreign languages to collect, analyze, and synthesize documents for in-depth learning and research.

Graduates with a Bachelor of Philosophy degree are equipped with a foundation in logical and critical thinking, as well as the ability to conduct in-depth analysis, enabling them to take on diverse job positions.
The main career paths include teaching and academic research (university and college lecturers; researchers at philosophy institutes and social science institutes; teachers of political theory, civics, economics and law, and some related subjects at the secondary level...) or in the political-administrative sector (policy analysts and planners; advisors and generalists in agencies of the Party, National Assembly, Government, and socio-political organizations...).
Strong writing and argumentation skills enable philosophy graduates to excel in various roles within journalism, media, and publishing (editors of theoretical, political, and cultural books; reporters and commentators on in-depth topics; critics; policy communications specialists, etc.).
Philosophy graduates can also work in the business and consulting sectors (organizational and management analyst; business strategy analyst; corporate culture specialist; human resource training and development specialist; cultural and educational consultant, etc.), as well as in social and non-governmental organizations (project specialist, policy advocacy officer, consultant, etc.).
