- Identify the problems that need to be solved and propose feasible solutions to enhance the application of the social TV model in Vietnam, aiming for the sustainable development of the Vietnamese television industry in the Internet age.
12. Practical applications:
This thesis selects the social TV ecosystem as its research subject – a non-traditional television ecosystem based on the Internet (which includes component ecosystems such as the content ecosystem, the channel ecosystem, and the multi-dimensional interactive space). The research results have verified the research hypotheses and assessed the potential application of the social TV ecosystem in Vietnam. Specifically:
ButThe development of television programs based on the social TV ecosystem model in Vietnam has been implemented in recent years. Based on criteria evaluating the applicability of this ecosystem model, it has proven suitable and has initially yielded positive results. The methods of content production and distribution on the Internet, following the trend of multimedia convergence, will operate according to the social TV ecosystem model. Specifically, content production methods, along with cross-platform content and 360-degree programs, will create a content ecosystem, exploring different aspects of broadcast programs on television channels. The distribution process of content on supplementary channels creates a channel ecosystem, increasing the program's reach to the audience.
ButThrough the analysis of case studies, it can be seen that the application of the social TV model in producing cross-platform content and 360-degree programs with flexible scripts has met the dynamic nature of the Internet environment. Cross-platform content and 360-degree programs closely follow the original program, creating a content ecosystem surrounding the original program to attract users.
ButManaging television programs within a social TV ecosystem model involves directing the distribution of cross-platform, 360-degree content across multiple platforms and supporting channels, optimizing opportunities to reach the program's target audience. Besides creating more opportunities to reach the target audience, multi-platform content distribution is essential and inevitable in the trend of multimedia convergence, demonstrating the flexible adaptability of television program content to the increasingly diverse and rapidly developing range of end devices.
- In fact, recent times have shown that Vietnamese television has experimented with implementing a social TV ecosystem for several program genres in various ways and has initially achieved some positive results.
Thus, the thesis has systematized the theory of the social TV ecosystem model; surveyed and evaluated the current state of social TV implementation worldwide, as well as surveyed and evaluated the initial stages of this model in the Vietnamese television industry. From the analyses and synthesis, the author concludes that the application and development of the social TV ecosystem in Vietnam is feasible and proposes specific solutions.
13. Future research directions:
There are still many research gaps in the field of television, specifically:
- Conduct in-depth research on the content, characteristics, nature, and genres of programs produced for the content ecosystem of television distributed on the Internet platform, clearly identifying the similarities and differences in content between these television programs and traditional television programs;
- In-depth research on how to set up a supplementary channel system - a multichannel system for social TV;
- Conduct in-depth research on the production, operation, and management processes of television content on the Internet.
- In-depth research on modern audiences, including the television audience in the internet age, with their distinct and typical characteristics;
- Conduct in-depth research on tools for measuring and evaluating communication effectiveness, thereby positioning strategies to reach the new generation of television audiences on the Internet, and methods for maintaining an increasingly individualized, mobile, and fragmented user community on the Internet.

11. Summary of the new findings of the thesis:
- Establish an overview of the research situation related to the topic domestically and abroad, as a basis for the next research issues.
- Building a theoretical framework for the research topic and clarifying theoretical issues on social television ecosystems (social TV) in the trend of multimedia convergence in the Internet age.
- Establishing a new television model based on the Internet - a social TV ecosystem model with specific characteristics and functions suitable to the trend of multimedia convergence in the Internet era.
- Summarize, analyze and assess the real situation of social television in the world and Vietnam through a number of specific case studies.
- Raising the issues that need to be solved, feasible solutions to improve the application of social TV in Vietnam, towards the sustainable development of Vietnam's television industry. in the Internet age.
12. Practical applicability, if any:
The research results have verified the research hypotheses and judgments about the applicability of the social TV ecosystem in Vietnam. specific:
- The development of television programs based on the model of social TV ecosystem in Vietnam has been implemented in recent years, based on the criteria to evaluate the applicability of the ecosystem model which has shown initial positive effect. The method of content production and distribution process on the Internet following the trend of multimedia convergence will operate under the model of social TV ecosystem. specific, the method of content production associated with cross-content, 360-degree programs will create a content ecosystem, exploring different aspects of broadcasts on TV channels. The process of distributing content on auxiliary channels creates a channel ecosystem, increasing the program's accessibility to the audience.
- Through the case studies that have been chosen and analyzed, it can be seen that the application of social TV model in producing cross-content, 360-degree programs with flexible scenarios has met the "dynamism" of the Internet environment. The cross-content, 360-degree program follows the original program, forming a content ecosystem surrounding the original program, in order to attract users.
- The management of television programs according to the model of social TV ecosystem is the navigation and distribution of cross-content, 360-degree programs on multiple platforms with many additional channels, in order to maximize give priority to the program's target public access. In addition to creating additional opportunities to reach the target audience, cross-platform content delivery is essential and inevitable of the trend of multimedia convergence, demonstrating the flexible customization of the content of the content. TV programs, adapted to many terminals are growing on a strong and diverse.
- The fact proves that, in recent years, Vietnamese television has experienced the implementation of the social TV ecosystem for a number of programming types in many different ways and initially which obtained a certain number of results.
Thus, the thesis has systematized the theory of social TV ecosystem model (social TV); surveying and evaluating the current status of social television broadcasting in the world, as well as surveying and evaluating the first step of this model in the Vietnamese television industry. From the analysis and synthesis, the author stated that the application of developing a social TV ecosystem in Vietnam is feasible, and proposed specific solutions.
13. Further research direction, if any:
