The Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi was established based on the model of the former Youth Union of Hanoi National University.
From the position of a unit under the Hanoi Youth Union, on December 15, 1995, the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities was officially established under Decision No. 73/QD-TN of the Hanoi Youth Union and became a member of the Youth Union of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi. With a history of 21 years of formation and development, the Youth Union of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi has gone through a provisional period and 08 congresses. With that solid and lasting tradition, the Youth Union has continuously grown, affirming its role and position in the school's education system as well as in the organization of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.
The Student Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi was established on December 8, 2000, and is a member of the Student Association of Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Since its establishment, the Student Association has undergone 17 years of development and growth with 7 terms of operation, making strong contributions to the overall development of the school and the student movement of the capital.
The leaders of the Youth Union and Association have grasped the ideological situation and aspirations of the members and students, united and focused the intelligence of the school's youth, educated national pride, believed in the Party's guidelines, aroused the youth and promoted the will to practice of the members and students; created positive motivation, passion for learning and scientific research to meet the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country; at the same time, raised awareness of responsibility towards society and cared for the spiritual life of the members. In particular, the School Youth Union always fulfilled its core political role in the activities of the School's Student Association, together building a strong organization of the school's youth.
