University of Social Sciences and Humanities - VNU Hanoi

I met Professor Nguyen Quang Hung at the school canteen. His simple appearance and sincere stories about his many years of teaching alongside his scientific research in Philosophy and Religious Studies filled me with admiration and respect for an educator and scientist who has dedicated his entire life to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi.

Esoteric Buddhism has a history of thousands of years in Vietnam, leaving a deep mark on Buddhist culture; Vajrayana Buddhism, which was introduced to Vietnam only about 30 years ago, is having a multifaceted impact on social life and Buddhist practices in Vietnam, requiring an objective, scientific approach to "separating the wheat from the chaff."

These three scientific reports are the distilled research results of scientists from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, submitted to the Government's Religious Affairs Committee to improve policies on religion and belief.
