- 9:00 AM: Vice President PG Lam receives the delegation from Qujing Normal University, China (Room 505, Building E). Representatives from the Training Department are invited to attend. The International Relations Department will prepare. - 13:45: Vice President of the Vietnam National University, Hanoi (Room 203, Administration Building, Vietnam National University, Hanoi) will hold a meeting at VNU (Room 203, Administration Building).
- 2:00 PM: The Rector teaches postgraduate classes in the History Department.
Tuesday
14/4
- 9:00 AM: Vice Rector of the Southern Branch attends the Seminar on Experiences in Special Education Training in France (Room 701, Building E). Dr. Trinh Van Tung will prepare.
- 10:00 AM: The Rector receives Professor Chung Sok Suh (Room 505, Building E). Professor Dr. Mai Ngoc Chu and Ms. Dao Thanh Truong are invited to attend. The International Relations Department will prepare.
- 2:00 PM: The Rector teaches postgraduate classes in the History Department.
- 2:00 PM: Vice President Vu Duc Nghieu hands over retirement certificates to staff retiring (Room 402, Building E). Personnel Department to prepare.
- 2:00 PM: Vice Rector of the Faculty of Tourism, Mr. Nam, will attend the Conference summarizing the 3-year pilot Master's program in Tourism Studies (Room 701, Building E). The Faculty of Tourism Studies will prepare.
- 2:00 PM: Vice Rector PG Lam will hold a meeting to review the eligibility requirements for the graduation exam for the Literature major at the UNESCO Center (Room 503, Building E). The Training Department and the Literature Faculty will prepare.
Wednesday
14/4
- 8:00 AM: Vice President of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences (No. 1 Lieu Giai Street) will attend a meeting.
- 8:00 AM: The Principal and Vice Principal PG Lam will work with the leaders of the Student Affairs Department regarding the school website and the student internet access room (Room 506, Building E). The Student Affairs Department will prepare.
- 1:30 PM: Conference of key officials to introduce the personnel plan for the Rector and Vice-Rector for the terms 2009-2014 and 2014-2019 (Auditorium on the 8th floor of building E). Attendees: Party Committee, Board of Directors, Trade Union Standing Committee; Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, President and Vice-President of the Student Union, President and Vice-President of the Veterans Association; Heads and Deputy Heads of faculties/departments, Heads and Deputy Heads of departments; Directors and Deputy Directors of centers under the university; People's Teachers, Meritorious Teachers, Professors, Associate Professors, Doctors of Science, Doctors, Senior Lecturers and Senior Staff. The Personnel Department and the Party Committee Office will prepare.
- 4:00 PM: Party Committee Meeting (Room 506, Building E). The Party Committee Office will prepare.
Thursday
16/4
- 8:00 AM: Vice Rector V.D. Nghieu attends the opening ceremony of the International Conference on University Governance at 19 Le Thanh Tong Street.
- 10:00 AM: Vice President PG Lam receives representatives from Mitani Company, Japan (Room 505, Building E). Dr. Phan Hai Linh is invited to attend. The International Relations Department will prepare.
- 10:00 AM: Vice President of the Southern Region is away on business until April 18th.
- 2:00 PM: Vice Rector V.D. Nghieu will meet with the Director of the International Student Center of the Ministry of Education and Training (B7bis, Polytechnic University). Representatives from the Faculty of Vietnamese Studies and Vietnamese Language, the Training Department, and the Science and Technology Department are invited to attend. The Science and Technology Department will handle the preparations.
- 6:30 PM: The Principal attends the Canadian National Day celebration (Sofitel Metropole Hotel, 15 Ngo Quyen Street).
Friday
17/4
- 7:00 AM: Teacher V.D. Nghieu teaches a class at G's house.
- 8:00 AM: Vice Rector PG Lam will hold a meeting of the Organizing Committee for the Training Conference to Meet Social Needs (Room 506, Building E). Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Hoi Loan, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Van Quyet, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Chi Hoa, Dr. Hoang Van Luan, Mr. Tran Van Nhue, and Mr. Vu Thanh Tung are invited to attend. The Student Affairs Department will prepare.
- 2:00 PM: The Principal is on a business trip to Vinh Phuc until April 19th. The Training Department should prepare.
- 2:00 PM: Vice Rector PG Lam and Vice Rector V.D. Nghieu will hold a meeting of the Project Committee for the transition to credit-based training (Room 506, Building E). Members of the Project Committee and the Heads or Vice-Heads of the faculties/departments responsible for training are invited to attend. The Secretariat will prepare the necessary documents.
- 6:30 PM: Vice President PG Lam receives Chinese guests. The International Relations Department prepares.
Saturday
18/4
- 8:00 AM: Vice President V.D. Nghieu attends the Seminar on Innovation in Leadership and Management Culture in Vietnam during the Process of International Integration: Some Theoretical and Practical Issues (Room 701, Building E). Prepared by the Project Steering Committee KX.03.21/06-10 and the Research Management & Postgraduate Training Department.
- 8:30 AM: Vice Rector PG Lam attends the Conference summarizing 5 years of joint training with China (Room 506, Building E). The International Relations Department and the Linguistics Faculty will prepare.
- 9:00 AM: Representatives from the Board of Directors attend the opening ceremony of the training course for lecturers on Ho Chi Minh Thought (meeting room on the 4th floor of building H). The Political Science Department will prepare.
