The victory of April 30, 1975, was a great achievement and a historical miracle for the Vietnamese nation. It was the final battle in the Ho Chi Minh Campaign – the culmination of the Spring 1975 General Offensive and Uprising, putting an end to the war and ushering in a new era – an era of peace and national reunification. Associate Professor Pham Thanh Hung – former lecturer and former Vice President of the Veterans Association of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi – shared his moving reflections on the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2025).

A multifaceted portrait of Nguyen Dinh Thi – an outstanding cultural and artistic leader, a multi-talented artist, and a pioneer of innovation – was reconstructed by scientists at the seminar "Nguyen Dinh Thi - 'The Vastness of the Dawn'," organized by the Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, this morning, November 12, 2024.
