On December 5, 2021, the Department of Foreign Literature and Comparative Studies (Faculty of Literature, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Hanoi) organized an online discussion on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Gustave Flaubert's birth.

On April 7, 2021, the Cinema Club coordinated with the Faculty of Literature to organize a screening of the film "Missing the Countryside" and a discussion "Flow Away, Movies: Inspiring Cinema from the Works of Nguyen Huy Thiep".
