I met Professor Nguyen Quang Hung at the school canteen. His simple appearance and sincere stories about the years of standing on the podium while doing scientific research in the fields of Philosophy and Religious Studies gave me admiration and respect for a teacher and scientist who has devoted his whole life to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU.

Tantric Buddhism has a history of thousands of years in Vietnam, leaving a deep mark in Buddhist culture; Vajrayana has only been introduced to Vietnam in the last 30 years and is having many impacts on social life and Buddhist activities in Vietnam.
