The explosion of television programming, especially talk shows and reality television in recent years, has made ordinary people an indispensable part of many programs. The private lives of individuals are “televisionized” and create a special attraction for these programs.
Besides the obvious values and benefits that this cooperation brings to the program makers and participants, there are also many debates surrounding privacy, publicity and the level of agreement on the participation of the parties when sharing stories in front of the camera.
From a professional ethics perspective and based on his research results and experience, Professor Richard Kilborn, Honorary Professor, Faculty of Communication and Culture, University of Stirling (UK) will have a discussion on this "agreement".
The Faculty of Journalism and Communication respectfully invites teachers, scientists, journalists, and colleagues to attend and contribute ideas to the talk:“Participation agreement - when the audience is part of the television program”
