On June 7, 2010, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU) and Loei Rajabhat University (Thailand) officially signed a cooperation relationship within the framework of the visit and working session of the Thai university delegation led by Prof. Dr. Sanit Loengbudnark - Rector.The signed framework agreement stipulates the main contents of cooperation between the two sides: exchange of students, trainees and lecturers; development of joint research projects; organization of scientific conferences; exchange of information and academic materials; development and promotion of other areas of academic cooperation of mutual interest. The two sides also had initial discussions on the development of a research program on the integration of Vietnamese culture in the Thai community through research on the lives of overseas Vietnamese in Thailand; development of joint training programs on Vietnamese studies and Thai studies at the two schools. At the signing ceremony, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities awarded certificates to 06 students of Loei Rajabhat University who completed the course on Vietnamese language and culture at the University in May 2010. Loei Rajabhat University is located in Northeast Thailand, has 12,000 students and 700 staff. Main training fields include: social sciences and humanities, natural sciences, management science, information technology, agriculture.
To date, Loei Rajabhat University is the 12th university in Thailand to have an official partnership with USSH. Other Thai partners are Chiang Mai University, Silpakorn University, Chiangrat Rajabhat University, Mahasarakham University, Sakin Nakhon Rajabhat University, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University, Naresuan University, Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University, Pharanakhon Rajabhat University, Bangsomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University, Thammasat University.
