This morning, April 11, 2020, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in collaboration with the Green Journey Fund, the Happy Women Leader Network and the Me Tri Dormitory Management Board organized a gift-giving event for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Me Tri. According to preliminary statistics, there are currently about 540 students of the University living in dormitories and boarding houses in Hanoi who are the beneficiaries of the University's support this time.

The small gifts for the students include rice, instant noodles, eggs, milk, sausages, masks, antiseptic water... This is the result of financial support and donations from the school's staff and other benefactors in the past time. Some teachers also volunteered to become shippers to bring gifts to the students. The methods of approaching the students in a safe, convenient and quick way were implemented by teachers and volunteer students of Nhan Van in a creative and dedicated spirit. A teacher shared: doing their best, for their own sake and so that the support reaches the students in the most genuine and effective way.

This support program is expected to last until the end of the epidemic, divided into several phases.

The school received sponsorship from the Green Journey Fund, the Happy Women Leader Network and former students of the Tourism Study program for the first 300 gifts distributed at Me Tri Dormitory.

Giving gifts to students is calculated to ensure epidemic prevention safety with regulations: wearing masks, gloves, using disinfectant solution and maximum distance...

Students shared their excitement and emotion when receiving gifts directly from teachers. In the photo, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Quang Lieu - Head of Student Affairs and Student Affairs Department, Principal of the School of Social Sciences and Humanities, presented gifts to students of Humanities.

The school's foreign students were personally given gifts by the Principal in the room.

The teachers have prepared quite carefully for each gift to send to the children.

Today, the School continues to receive rice support from some teachers of the Faculty of Sociology and Management Science.

Principal Pham Quang Minh directly participated in the gift preparation stages and encouraged teachers and students to participate.

Dr. Ngo Thi Kieu Oanh - President of the School's Trade Union is the person who directly plans and prepares the logistics for the program.

Mr. Tran Bach Hieu - Secretary of the School Youth Union worked closely with volunteer students to participate in the logistics work for the program.

Ms. Nguyen Tuyet Mai - Student Affairs Department is one of the people actively participating in activities to share difficulties with Humanities students.

Ms. Vu Thu Hang - Union Office staff is the focal point for calling for and receiving gifts and supporting materials in this program.

Mr. Pham Huy Cuong (Deputy Head of Student Affairs and Support Department) volunteered to be a shipper to deliver gifts to students' addresses on their way home this evening.

Another very familiar shipper of Humanities students - Mr. Nguyen Van Hue (Training Department) personally handed over small gifts but full of affection and care from the School to the students.
