Along with the assessment of the Social Work Training Program, experts from the AUN-QA organization evaluated the training programs of member units of VNU, including: Bachelor of Mechatronic Engineering Technology - University of Technology; Bachelor of Law and Master of Constitutional Law and Administrative Law - University of Law.

In his closing remarks, VNU Vice President Nguyen Hoang Hai said that over the years, VNU has always been a pioneer and proactive in participating in the quality assessment of training programs according to national and international standards, including AUN-QA. He said that this would be a great opportunity for VNU to receive useful comments from education experts from leading universities in the region, helping to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas that need to be improved in the quality of the assessed programs in particular and the training quality at VNU in general.
According to AUN-QA's educational accreditation standards, important aspects of the training program will be assessed, such as: program objectives and learning outcomes, teaching content, teaching methods, assessment methods, quality assurance activities, lecturers and students, facilities and student support, etc. From there, the assessment team will provide advice to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU to improve and enhance the quality of the training program.
AUN-QA representative evaluates in detail the strengths, areas that need to be improved and recommendations for the training program according to AUN's general assessment criteria.
The inspection team also worked with the leaders of the Faculty of Sociology, interviewed lecturers and support staff, students, alumni, employers, visited the facilities of VNU, the facilities of the University such as VNU Hospital, Me Tri dormitory, VNU library for students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, facilities of the Faculty of Sociology, etc.
At the closing session, AUN-QA assessment experts made detailed assessments of the strengths, areas that need to be improved and recommendations for 04 training programs of VNU according to AUN's general assessment criteria.

Considering training quality and training quality assurance as the key philosophy and value, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU has always implemented quality assessment activities according to domestic and international standards. By the end of 2023, VNU-USSH has completed the quality assessment of 06 training programs according to AUN-QA standards, 15 training programs according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training.
According to the plan, in 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will complete the quality assessment of 100% of university training programs that are eligible for quality accreditation after conducting the quality assessment of the Social Work training program and 03 other training programs. These are remarkable figures, demonstrating the continuous efforts to improve the quality of training, consolidate the position and prestige of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in particular and VNU in the national and regional higher education system.
