Specifically, the AUN-QA evaluation team will be working at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities to assess the quality of the Social Work program (part of the Sociology Faculty) from July 2nd to July 4th, 2024.

Prof. Dr. Wyona C. Patalinghug – Head of the AUN-QA External Evaluation TeamAccording to AUN-QA's educational accreditation standards, key aspects of the training program will be evaluated, such as: program objectives and learning outcomes, teaching content, teaching methods, assessment methods, quality assurance activities, faculty and students, facilities and student support… Based on this, the evaluation team will provide advice to the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU Hanoi to improve and enhance the quality of its training programs.
The accreditation team will also work with the leadership of the Faculty of Sociology, interview lecturers and support staff, students, alumni, and employers, and visit the facilities of Hanoi National University, the school's facilities, and the Faculty of Sociology.

By the end of 2023, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities had completed the quality assessment of 6 training programs according to AUN-QA standards and 15 training programs according to the standards of the Ministry of Education and Training. According to the plan, in 2024, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will complete the quality assessment of 100% of its undergraduate training programs eligible for accreditation after conducting the quality assessment of the Social Work program and 3 other programs.

Bachelor of Social Work Program The Bachelor of Social Work degree aims to train human resources with in-depth knowledge of social issues and the skills to intervene in and solve social problems at the individual, group, community, and societal levels.
The training program helps learners develop research and teaching skills, and especially skills in intervening to solve social problems and advising on the development of social policies that meet the country's development needs; it also provides the ability to continue studying at higher levels and accumulate experience to become experts in the field of social work.
