11.1. Purpose and scope of the dissertation research:

Research objectives:This study proposes solutions to improve policies that promote linkages between high-tech agricultural enterprises (HTAs) and research and development (R&D) organizations, aiming to enhance the operational efficiency of these enterprises in Vietnam.

Research subjects:The impact of macroeconomic policies promotes linkages between high-tech agricultural enterprises and research and development organizations to improve the operational efficiency of businesses in Vietnam.

11.2. Research methods used:

- Methods of data collection:

+ Secondary data collection method: The thesis uses a secondary data collection method related to policies promoting linkages between high-tech agricultural enterprises and R&D organizations to improve the operational efficiency of enterprises in Vietnam through the guidelines and directions of the Party and State, legal documents from the central to local levels, reports, specialized journals, etc., related to the research scope in the period from 2016 to 2023.

+ Primary data collection method: The research collected primary data to propose a set of evaluation criteria for macroeconomic policies that promote linkages between high-tech agricultural enterprises and R&D organizations, aiming to improve the operational efficiency of enterprises in Vietnam.

- In-depth interview method: Target subjects include household heads, business representatives, experts working in the field of high-tech agriculture, representatives from R&D organizations, and individuals involved in the process of formulating and implementing high-tech agricultural policies, with more than 3 years of experience, nationwide.

- Information processing method: Invalid ballots (blank ballots) were compiled and processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS software. Then, SPSS 25 and AMOS software were used for data analysis, including descriptive statistics, EFA and CFA assessments, and SEM modeling.

- Data analysis methods: Using descriptive statistics, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA), modeling methods: Applying structural equation modeling (SEM) from collected primary and secondary data.

This thesis focuses on proposing several solutions to promote the promulgation and implementation of macroeconomic policies that foster linkages between high-tech agricultural enterprises and R&D organizations to improve the operational efficiency of these enterprises, including: Agricultural sector restructuring policies; Policies to promote linkages between R&D organizations and high-tech agricultural enterprises; Agricultural infrastructure development policies; Policies to promote agricultural science and technology; Financial, monetary, and credit policies for high-tech agriculture; and Policies on education, human resource management, and employment in agriculture.

Future research directions: Based on the effectiveness of the policies proposed in this dissertation, the doctoral candidate will analyze and evaluate them to make appropriate recommendations for each stage to promote the linkage between high-tech agricultural enterprises and research and development organizations, thereby improving the operational efficiency of enterprises in Vietnam.

11.1 Thesis purpose and object

Research purpose: Propose policy solutions to facilitate collaboration between high-tech agricultural enterprises and R&D organizations to improve the operational efficiency of Vietnamese businesses.

Research object: The impact of macro-level policies in promoting linkages between high-tech agricultural enterprises and research & development (R&D) organizations to enhance the operational efficiency of enterprises in Vietnam.

11.2 Research methods

  • Desk review method:

  • Secondary data collection method: The thesis collects secondary data regarding implementation of policies that encourages collaboration between research and development organizations and high-tech agricultural enterprises that aims to enhance the operational efficiency of enterprises in Vietnam through analyzing legal documents from central to local levels, including Party and State policies and orientations, reports, and thematic periodicals... with respect to the research scope for the period 2016-2023.

  • Primary data collection method: Conduct research and gather primary data in order to propose the formulation of a set of assessment criteria for macro policies that aim to foster collaborations between high-technology agricultural enterprises and research and development organizations with the aim to enhance the operational efficiency of businesses in Vietnam.

ButIn-depth interview: Subjects are household heads, business representatives, experts working in the field of high-tech agriculture, representatives from R&D organizations, subjects participating in the process of promulgating and implementing high-tech agriculture policies, with more than 3 years of experience, national.
