+ This dissertation is a systematic research work on ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011-2023), notably contributing to the development and systematization of a theoretical basis for applying to the case of ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011-2023), helping to reconstruct a fairly comprehensive and rich picture of ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011-2023).
The thesis has identified and analyzed the results of ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011-2023) in three main aspects: security, development, and position, linked to national interests in politics, economics, culture and society, and defense and security.
The dissertation presented several observations and assessments on the implementation of safeguarding national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011-2023), as well as highlighting the challenges facing the safeguarding of national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy in the future. Based on this, the dissertation proposed solutions to contribute to safeguarding national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy until 2030, with a vision to 2045.
+ The research findings of this dissertation are used as scientific data to contribute to advising the Party, the State, and relevant ministries and agencies on the foreign policy guidelines of the Communist Party of Vietnam in ensuring national interests. Future research directions: The doctoral candidate will continue to delve deeper into the issue of ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy, in the context of increasingly deep international integration and a complex and volatile regional and global environment. The research focus will be on several strategic areas, such as:aThe study will examine non-traditional security (cybersecurity, climate change, epidemics, water security, etc.) to assess Vietnam's adaptability and policy responses to new challenges; the digital economy and digital transformation, analyzing the role of international cooperation in promoting economic development and enhancing national competitiveness; and cultural diplomacy, considering the use of "soft power" to enhance the national image while protecting national identity in the process of globalization. Furthermore, the doctoral candidate will expand on a comparative analysis of international experiences to draw relevant lessons for Vietnam. Simultaneously, the study will analyze the impact of strategic competition among major powers and regional shifts on Vietnam's foreign policy orientation. In addition, the research aims to develop quantitative analytical tools to support policy planning and evaluation, contributing to the refinement of Vietnam's foreign policy strategy in the coming period.
