* Research purpose:Systematize the theoretical basis; analyze and clarify the content and implementation of ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011 - 2023), especially in the context of globalization and deep international integration, fierce competition among major countries. Thereby, draw conclusions and propose solutions to contribute to ensuring Vietnam's national interests until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

+ The thesis is a systematic research work on ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011 - 2023), in which the outstanding contribution is the new contribution in building and systematizing the theoretical basis to apply to the case of ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011 - 2023), helping to restore a picture with quite comprehensive and rich information on ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011 - 2023).

+ The thesis has pointed out and analyzed the results in ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011 - 2023) in three main aspects: security, development and position, associated with national interests in politics, economy, culture - society, defense - security.

+ The thesis has made some comments and assessments on the implementation of ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy (2011 - 2023), as well as highlighted the issues arising in ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy in the coming time. On that basis, the thesis proposes solutions to contribute to ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

+ The research results of the thesis are used as scientific data contributing to the advisory work for the Party, the State, relevant ministries and branches on the foreign policy and guidelines of the Communist Party of Vietnam in ensuring national interests. At the same time, the thesis is an important and useful source of reference materials, directly serving the research and teaching work at research and training institutions of international relations in Vietnam and those interested.

- Conclude:Based on the research on the issue of ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy for the period 2011 - 2023, the thesis establishes a number of new perceptions, contributing to supplementing the theoretical basis and providing scientific arguments for the process of planning and adjusting foreign policies in the context of deep international integration. From the research results, the thesis points out the requirements in harmoniously combining security interests, development and national position, and at the same time proposes solutions to continue ensuring Vietnam's national interests in the new situation.

11. Further research directions: The PhD student will continue to delve into the issue of ensuring national interests in Vietnam's foreign policy, in the context of increasingly deep international integration and complex regional and global environments. The research focus will be on a number of strategic areas, such as:aNon-traditional security (cyber security, climate change, epidemics, water security, etc.) to assess Vietnam's adaptability and policy responses to new challenges; digital economy and digital transformation, analyzing the role of international cooperation in promoting economic development and enhancing national competitiveness; cultural diplomacy, considering the use of "soft power" to enhance the national image, while protecting national identity in the globalization process. In addition, the researcher will expand the comparison of international experiences, in order to draw appropriate reference lessons for Vietnam. At the same time, analyze the impact of strategic competition between major countries and regional fluctuations on Vietnam's foreign policy orientation. In addition, the research aims to build quantitative analysis tools to serve policy planning and evaluation, contributing to perfecting Vietnam's foreign policy strategy in the coming period.

The focus will be placed on several strategic areas, such as: Non-traditional security (including cybersecurity, climate change, pandemics, water security, etc.), with an emphasis on assessing Vietnam's policy adaptability and response to emerging challenges; Digital economy and digital transformation, analyzing the role of international cooperation in promoting economic development and enhancing national competitiveness; Cultural diplomacy, exploring the use of “soft power” to improve the country's global image while preserving national identity in the globalization process. In addition, the candidate will broaden the scope of study through comparative analysis of international experiences, with the aim of drawing relevant lessons for Vietnam. The research will also examine the impact of strategic competition among major powers and regional fluctuations on the orientation of Vietnam's foreign policy.
