- Based on theory and influencing factors, the thesis clarifies the current status of China - Russian Federation relations from 2012 to 2024 in the fields of politics - diplomacy, economics, defense - security and culture - society - tourism, thereby drawing comments, forecasting prospects and recommendations for Vietnam.

- The thesis will flexibly use research methods from the fields of regional studies, country studies (Chinese studies), international studies, history, political science, economics, etc. to clarify the nature of China - Russian Federation relations in the period from 2012 - 2024.

- The thesis clarifies the factors affecting the China - Russian Federation relationship in many fields such as politics, economics, defense, security, culture, education and tourism. The study makes a scientific contribution when analyzing the characteristics of the relationship between the two powers and China's foreign policy towards neighboring countries, including Russia. The thesis contributes to identifying China's foreign policy thinking and strategy to increase regional influence.
